BIOGRAPHY: TFG-113-Fred H. and Lois celebrated their Golden Anniversary 2 Aug. 1929. He was a prominent and civic minded citizen. He organized the Wyoming County Horticultural Society and served as President of the State Horticultural Society. He was State Deputy for the Grange. He was a Grange member for over 40 years. He lectured in every County in the State of Pennsylvania for the Pennsylvania Agricultural Department. He lived on a beautiful 400 acre farm on the Susquehanna near Meshoppen, PA. He was active in the Fassett Family Reunion. His son Lloyd was associated with him.
