BIOGRAPHY: TFG-210-Fred E. was graduate from Bloomsburg State Teacher's College in 1894. Before becoming a merchant in Stevensville, PA, he taught many terms of school in Forkston, PA. He kept a country store and was Postmaster for many years in Stevensville, PA. He retired in 1946 and lived in Wyalusing, PA., thereafter.

BIOGRAPHY: TFG-2-John was a physician. He left no heirs. In Vol. XVII N.E. Gen reg., P332, mentions a certificate of Johathan Prescott Sr., and Jonathan Prescott, chiurgeons saying John Fassit of Concord, is incapable of service from lameness Oct. 13, 1698. He was the first Treasurer of the town of Bedford. On a trip to London, England he purchased a Bible printed in London in 1611. This old Bible is now in the possession of Fassett Sinclair Oswald, Toledo, OH. It contains these entries:
Dr. John Fassett who bought this book departed this life January ye 30th, 1736/37.
The widow Mary Fassett departed this life March ye 19th 1748/49.
Dr. John Fassett gave this book in his last will to Mary Fassett, his wife.
The widow Mary Fassett, in her last will gave this book to John Fassett, son to Josiah Fassett.
Mary Fassett, wife to John Fassett of Bennington , VT departed this life September 12, 1782 in the sixty second year of her life
John Fassett of Bennington, was son to Josiah Fassett departed this life August the 12th, 1794 being seventy four years and four months old.
John Fassett son of the above died April second 1803, aged 59 years and 9 months.
Hannah Fassett, his wife died April 19th, 1810, aged 64 years.

BIOGRAPHY: TFG-25-William Henry was educated a the Albany Boys' Academy entering in 1852. He was the first president of the Academy's Beck Literary Society. He was in the lumber business with his father. Later he was appointed the English Agent for American proprietary drugs and specialties. He along with his family moved to London, England.
On 29 July 1884 William, Isabel, Mary and Frederick returned from Great Britain on the SS Gallia.
