Albert Dennis was born on a farm at Forkston, PA, settled and cleared by his father, Elihu. He remembered when there were only two families, the Seril Adams and Cyrus Clapp living between his home and Susquehanna River. The author remembers well this interesting, intelligent, distinguished old gentleman. He was very proud that the had been a Mason for sixty-eight years. Note his picture in the front of this book. His daughter, Dora, looked after him in his old age.
