BIOGRAPHY: TFG-86-Benjamin is believed to be the one who served as a private in the Revolutionary War in Capt. Abner Bacon's Co., Col. John Durkee's 4th Conn. Reg't. He is shown to have enlisted 29 May 1777 and to have died 31 Dec. 1777. (from Adjutant General's Office, Washington , DC)
In the Public Records of CT, vol. XII, Page 161-163, he is mentioned as "guardian to the estate of Ephriam Tucker 3, a minor in the town of Pomfret May 1763, son of Joseph Tucker(2) deceased. In will of Joseph Tucker dated 30 July, 1753, he leaves his grandson Ephriam Tucker "his gun, his sword and best hat." (from Adjutant General's Office, Hartford, CT)
