[2005] BIOGRAPHY: TFG-17-Capt. John Webber was possessed of a strong mind and great energy. In early life he followed the sea. He was not married until 28 years old. He first lived in East Bedford, MA. Later he bought a farm from Samuel Danforth in April 1773. He was often in public service. He served as delegate to important conventions of the Revolutionary period. Sarah d. at 38 leaving 11 children. John remarried to Susanna Simons Page, Ebenezer Page's widow.
