BIOGRAPHY: Excerpt from the Silver City Enterprise 10 Nov 1886
E.B. Bolton, of Telegraph camp, visited the metropolis on Tuesday. He is doing a good business in his line, and is always as pleasant as a basket of chips.
DEATH: From Obit
Mr. Bolton was born in Carson City, Nev., Oct 26, 1849. He was an express messenger on the Wells Fargo & Co. stage lines between Utah and Arizona. He came to Silver City in 1886 and remained here until the time of his death. Mr. Bolton was engaged in livestock raising near Hurley and more recently resided in Pinos Altos.
Surviving relatives are a daughter, Mrs. Lila Schopf of Santa Cruz, Calif., and two sons, William E. Bolton and Julius B. Bolton, both of Silver City.

Pioneer of Grant County Is Buried at Deming Tuesday
Funeral services for Edward B. Bolton, 86, Grant county pioneer, were held Tuesday morning at Cox's mortuary with CCC Chaplain Beaston officiating. Death occurred Sunday afternoon at the home of his son Julius B. Bolton and was caused by shock from a fall received Friday.
From the services in Silver City the body was taken to Deming for burial beside the body of his wife who died in 1916.
Pallbearers at the funeral were John M. St. John, John Coleman, H. A. Harrington,
H. A. Cooper, Roy Roland and Robert Henning.
