BIOGRAPHY: Nancy Jane Lilley (2) taught school several terms with marked success. Her ability as a composer of poetry has been preserved in book form, published in 1873. Her husband was a farmer and resided about two miles north of Alba, until he was elected Prothonotary, when he moved to Towanda and served two terms in said office. She died at the hands of the dread disease, typhoid fever. She was a Disciple of Christ. Record :
