BIOGRAPHY: TFG-23-Howell's History of Albany and Schenectady Counties mentions Asa on the Board of Supervisors, Albany, NY in 1852. It also mentions Charles A. Fassett along with Fassett and Co. as lumber dealers. Asa lived in Bath, NY and Tonawanda, NY in later years. He was known as Major Fassett as he was an oficer in the Albany Militia.
