Luther W. Fassett was born on 12 November 1831. He was the son of Joseph Fassett and Tabitha Wright . Luther W. Fassett married Sarah E. Fassett in 24 September 1856. Luther W. Fassett killed on 2 April 1862 at Evan's Fort, VA; by a rebel leaving one child.
BIOGRAPHY: TFG-10-Luther served in the Civil War in Co. E, 2nd Reg't of NY Volunteers. He was killed by a rebel scout at Evansport, Va 2 April 1862. He was he first man killed from Cheshire Co., NH
