BIOGRAPHY: TFG-284 It is not known when they left Germany for the US. Frank X was from a family of glass blowers in Germany. In Pittsburgh he worked as a glass blower in the Bryce Glass Factory. When Mr. Byrce's infant son had trouble with the milk feddings Mary Kintzler Schuster, who had just had a child, assumed the feeding responsibility for the young Bryce child. Frank always was employed at the factory.
Mary Kintzler's family moved to Ettenoen, North Wurttemberg, Germany, when she was young. She had a beautiful voice and sang in church choirs in Germany and in Pittsburgh, PA. She d. at the home of her daughter Julianna, who lived in an apartment in the Carnegie Library, Pittsburgh, PA. Both are buried in St. Michael's Cemetery, S.S. Pittsburgh, PA.
1880 US Census lists him under Saphre, and 1900 US Census lists him as Franz
[10827] TFG has d. 9 Aug 1922, but 1920 US Census has Mary living with Julia and John Diethorn and is listed as widowed.
