BIOGRAPHY: TFG-53,54-David moved to Bennington with his father. He served in the Revolutionary War. From Archives of the State of VT "David Fassett served as a private in Captain E. Wallace's Co. of Militia in 1780." He also served in an alarm in Aug. 1781 and again in Dec. 1781. In 1805 he moved his family from Bennington to Enosburg, VT in the dead of winter. The move was done by ox team which drew goods and family the whole distance of 200 miles.
