BIOGRAPHY: TFG-121-H. Loren received his BA from Colgate U in 1898. He taught mathematics an Keystone Acaemy and served as its president. He taught Greek and French at Colgate 1903-1905. In 1921 he moved to Washington, DC where he assumed an executive position with the Bureau of Budget. Following his retirement in 1947, he was treasurer and financial secretary of Washington's Calvary Baptist Church. He was also chairman of finances for the Washington Federation of Churches. He traveled considerably, served in many civic organizations and the Scottish Rite Masons. Colgate U. honored him as their oldest alumnus. He d. at his home in Washington, DC.
