Chauncy N. Fassett, a newspaperman, was born in South Bend, Indiana,
on July 30, 1849 and attended the common schools and read law.
He has been engaged in newspaper work since 1873 and founded the
South Bend "Sunday News" in 1887, has been the Business Manager of
the South Bend "News-Times" since consolidation on September 19, 1911
and is a residents of South Bend, Indiana
