Her tombstone inscription: "Sacred to the memory of Mrs. Hannah consort of Captain Stephen House who died July 6 A.D. 1826 Age 65 yrs, 4 mons., 2 days. Mrs. House was the first and for some years the only professee of religion in this town. In Oct. 1811 she with nine others were organized into a church and she lived to see more than 170 persons added to this number. 'My spirit looks to God alone. My rock and refuge in this throne.' "
