The Inn was on the site of the old Spaulding house. He was an antique enthusiast, collector and dealer. He died very suddenly from an aneuryism.

BIOGRAPHY: TFG-68-William Mason graduated from West Point in 1897 and entered the U.S. Infantry. He served in the Battle of Santiago, Cuba; served throughout the Philippine Insurrection and throughout WW-I as Col. Chief of Staff, 31st Division and as Director of General Staff College in Langres, France; finally as Brigadier General in command 73rd Brigade of the 37th Division in Belgium. Now retired, he lives in Orlando, FL.

Dr. Arhtur L. Wallace was a visitor at this desk yesterday. He had just returned from a brief trip to Florida and while there managed to have a visit with Will Fassett, whom many Nashuans will remember. Will is a retired Army man, a graduate
of West Point, and for those who do not remember him, he was a brother of Jim Fassett, who was superintendent of schools
here for years.
Will was a graduate of Nashua High school, after which he entered West Point and made the Army his career until his retirement about ten years ago. He now maintains a plantation at Orlando, Florida, and raises oranges and other fruits. Two of his sisters, Annie and Alice, live with him.
