[9691] BIOGRAPHY: Obit-A farmer for years in the Oregon area, Earl formerly worked at Perrysburg Tool & Die and was the owner/operator of Cousino Sales & Service. A member of St. Ignatius Church, the Knights of Columbus, and St. Vincent de Paul Society, he enjoyed bowling and working on the computer. Earl was active in the Genealogy Club, enjoyed playing the organ, and traveled to all 50 states. Although he was deaf and legally blind, he continued to be an integral and active member of the family. Earl's life revolved around his wife and his family.
Earl F. Cousino, 84, of Oregon, died Monday, May 2, 2005, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Born in Jerusalem Twp. on October 4, 1920, he was the son of Richard and Mabel (St. John) Cousino. A farmer for years in the Oregon area, Earl formerly worked at Perrysburg Tool & Die and was the owner/operator of Cousino Sales & Service. A member of St. Ignatius Church, the Knights of Columbus, and St. Vincent de Paul Society, he enjoyed bowling and working on the computer. Earl was active in the Genealogy Club, enjoyed playing the organ, and traveled to all 50 states. Although he was deaf and legally blind, he continued to be an integral and active member of the family. Earl's life revolved around his wife and his family. Surviving are Ruth M. (Fassett) Cousino, his beloved wife of 64 years; sons, Paul (Joyce) of St. Louis, MO, Daniel (Barbara) of Erie, MI, and Charles Cousino of Toledo; daughters, Barbara (John Davis) Michaels of Dallas, TX, Sally (Michael) Rabbitt of Oregon; stepbrother, Tom Pavlik; stepsister, Eleanor Kostelnik; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Hoeflinger Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and proceed to St. Ignatius Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Tributes in Earl's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the donor's choice. Special thanks to all the nurses and doctors at St. Charles Mercy Hospital and Northwest Ohio Hospice.
